Online Option for Food Handler Training*
Healthy Living will cover the cost for volunteers working in a not-for-profit setting who are preparing and serving food to the public, to take the Certified Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1 available online through 'Contractors Associated with Manitoba Health’.

- Once approved, volunteers can find an online option through the list of Approved Private Contractors: https://www.gov.mb.ca/health/publichealth/environmentalhealth/protection/docs/contractorlist.pdf
- Volunteers must cover the cost of the course fee and once a volunteer has completed the training and received the Certificate, Healthy Living will reimburse the cost – please connect with Healthy Living Facilitator for the Volunteer Expense Claim form.
This will be the last year that Healthy Living will cover the cost of the Food Handler training.
