Monday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm

All waste such as household garbage, recyclables, scrap metal, tire, oil and electronics may be deposited free of charge.

The following items being deposited into a bin, or being placed at the transfer station site for later deposit into a bin, the following applicable fees shall be changed as noted;

Waste Transfer Station

Bulk Truckloads (Demolition or Construction) except household garbage:

Municipal Cost approximately $128 per tonne for hauling and disposal

½ tonne truckload/trailer $20.00 - Shingles $50

¾ tonne truckload $20.00 - Shingles $75

1 tonne truckload $50.00 - Shingles $100

 

Windows/Windshields/Appliances:

Windows/Windshields $10.00

Appliances: $10.00

(not including fridges, freezers or air conditioners)

 

Fabric Covered Furniture

Sofa $20.00

Chair (Armchair) $20.00

Mattress $20.00

Boxspring $20.00

 

Carpet & Flooring

8x10ft size or smaller $5.00

Larger than 8x10ft size $5.00

 

Tires on Rims

Passenger Tires on Rims $5.00

Medium Truck Tires & Others $20.00

 

For the Following being deposited at the scrap metal area:

Fridges, Freezers/Air Conditioners

(bearing a certified sticker that Freon has been removed) $ N/C

 

For the Following being deposited at the Freon removal area:

Fridges, Freezers/Air Conditioners $35.00

 

Uncovered/Unsecured loads

All items $5/per load

Fees shall be paid to the Gate Attendant by cash or cheque.
