Canadian Navigable Waters Act


The Municipality of Emerson-Franklin (the RM) hereby gives notice that a submission has been added to the Navigable Waters Registry pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for public comment described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 10(1)(b) of the said Act, the RM has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Common Project Search Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) and under registry number 15511, a description of the following work, its site and plans:

Construction of a Culvert Crossing to Replace a Concrete Box Bridge [49° 9'46.91"N, 96°55'15.39"W]

in, on, over, under, through or across the North Branch Jordan River at SW 31-2-5E (Rd 11 N).

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation can be sent through the Common Project Search site mentioned above under the Comment section (search by the above referenced number) or by sending your comments directly to:

Note that comments will be considered only if they are received not later than 30 days after the publication of this notice.
