Municipal Notice of intent

TAKE NOTICE that on July 14, 2026, the council of the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin gave first reading to bylaw 25-2026 to de-designate as a municipal heritage site under the heritage resources act, the lands and premises commonly known as:

Mb Municipal Heritage Site No. 192 Concrete Box Bridge SW 31-2-5E Woodmore

Area; and

Mb Municipal Heritage Site No. 193 Concrete Box Bridge SW 35-2-5E Greenridge

Area;

Mb Municipal Heritage Site No. 191 Timber Truss Bridge Dominion City

In the communities of Woodmore, Greenridge, and Dominion City of the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin.

A copy of the proposed bylaw can be inspected at the Emerson-Franklin Municipal office, 115 Waddell Ave. Dominion City, 8-4 Monday to Friday.

A public hearing will be held at the Emerson-Franklin Municipal Office, 10:00 a.m., August 11, 2026

At that time, any person may submit an objection or other representation on the proposal. If there is no objection, Council may resolve to adopt the proposed bylaw, or not to proceed with it.
