Pesticide Application Programs

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Municipality of EMERSON-FRANKLIN intends to conduct the following pesticide control program during 2026.

•    To control noxious weeds, brush, and cattails along municipal and Manitoba Transportation rights-of-way, public properties, and Emerson Golf Course

•    To control grasshoppers and mosquitoes, if necessary, within the municipality.

The proposed dates of application will be from May 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026.  The pesticides to be used may/will include:

The public may, within 15 days after this notice is published, submit written comments to the department or register a written objection to the use of pesticide next to their property.
